i had to change my blogskin after the previous one went blank on me, some issue with photobucket. couldn't leave my blog in an abandon state, and so i got down to changing immediately. i reckon choosing a blogskin is similar to a handphone, where everything shown on one page works best for me, just like how my preferred handphone type is, non-flip or slide. while i updated my links, there were many friends whose links i was hesitant in deleting, not because we're no longer friends, but because they've stopped writing and the reluctance was due to the hope that one day, they'll start writing again. it's nice to read an entry concerning their lives or activities which the both of us took part in, some call it being kpo, while i view it as "concern".
with the end of the exams, i was supposed to continue on my dissertation. yes, supposed to. the procrastinator in me has triumphed once again and this is causing a constant nagging thought in my head. maybe this is the reason for my hair loss. hopefully i'll grow back an entire head full of hair when this project is over.
meeting up with the hockey people on friday night after a month's break for the exams was great. it's true that absence makes the heart fonder, i missed them alot! we had crystal jade xlb buffet for dinner and it was a night overloaded with xlb. 40 baskets shared between 12 plus steamboat and 5 baskets of csb. i would upload photos if i had, maybe i'll wait for yuhan to upload hers first. i usually bring my camera out during gatherings, but rarely for the hockey people because they are not like some of the photo-taking frenzy friends that i have (*ahem xuemei, seohoon, xiaoqian, joel) and my digital camera pales in comparison with all the pro cams.
hockey on sunday was tiring. i woke up this morning feeling partially paralysed. but it felt good! i love muscle aches, not the pain but the symbolic meaning behind it :) oh and i'll be going overseas for 9 days next week, i need to find someone to look after mandusa!!! (my fighting fish) he's really low maintenance and if you forget to feed him for a couple of days, he'll still survive! any volunteers?
