friday marked my last official day of lessons, not yet the last day as a student until the exams are over, but it feels pretty much like the end. i'm not prepared to sum up my entire uni life this soon! the last week of school went by in a flash, maybe because i had 4 reports due on the last day of school and also because i'm such a procrastinator...
my 2nd last day of school was rather eventful, i had lunch with kaobei, ivane and ming. lunching with kaobei and ivane was quite fun! after 4 years since we left sajc, it's our first time having lunch together, alot of updates and catch up to be done, some shocking news too and kaobei is still as kaobei. she insisted on eating yong dao foo when ivane and i tried to tell her that the queue was too long. in the end, we all had yong dao foo because she is kb.. haha
after that, i went to sign my contract. yes friends, i'm officially employed! ok lah, technically still not yet since i have to wait for my medical results, but yeah let's hope everything turns out fine. i'm quite excited to embark on my next journey in life, can't wait to see what i can achieve and learn. the whole job-seeking experience was similar to a life-evaluating process. many a times you'll find yourself asking, what do you want to achieve in future? is that what you really want? i think up till today, i can't answer provide a firm solution for these 2 questions, but at least i know i'm on my way to finding that out, that's assuring. :)
the last day of school came and left, the day where all cameras come into use. the atmosphere was just different, everyone was smiling, everyone was laughing, and for once, i was reluctant to leave the lecture theatre. could it be my last time stepping into the lecture theatre, i wondered. for non-SDE students, you probably do not know the significance of the lecture theatre because you would have been studying at many different lecture theatres. for sde, its different. given our limited number of lecture theatres, i think i had like 80% of my modules taken in LR425. the lecture theatre where you can easily find dark brown stains on the carpet that have been there since ancient times and cracks on the tables, but it is still loved by all, or maybe it's just me? haha. i took very few photos on that day because with all the pro cameras, my canon ixus has lost its competitive edge.

i'm certain that most of us will be going "4 years gone, just like that??? thats too fast!!" well come to think about it, the next world cup is coming up (ronaldo and carlos have all retired since) and the circle line stations are opening. closer to the heart, i've obtained my driver's license, went through 2 internships and wrinkles are beginning to show up, 4 years aint such a short time after all. the reason why it felt seemingly short was because of the heavy workload and long time spent in school. of course, i enjoyed every single minute of it, be it the bad or good times, because of all the new friendships forged in school. the pfm gang and some other friends, you made going to school a real joy, every 5-10 minutes lecture breaks fun and all project discussions a learning process for me. thank you very much for these 4 years, I'll keep and cherish these memories with me always, unless i get dementia in the future... haha :)
